McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company's Todd Mason has more than 20 years of real estate experience. He has an extensive background in corporate real estate, handling both brokerage and consulting services for institutional, corporate and large national companies. Mr. Mason has handled more than $1 billion in transactions for these accounts. Some of Todd's more notable clients have been AIG, BP Amoco, Metro, PennzEnergy, Weathford International, Service Corporation International (SCI) and Victory Packaging, as well as numerous individual investors.

Before becoming a partner with McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston + Company in 2002, Mr. Mason spent twelve years as Senior Director - Brokerage Services Group with Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) of Texas and prior to his tenure with C&W Mr. Mason spent two years as an associate at the Horne Company. During his tenure at C&W, Mr. Mason won C&W's coveted National Service Excellence award two times. In 1997, he was named the Commercial Broker of the Year by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR). He also received the Commercial Professional of the Year for 1998 from the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP), the 1998 Industrial Broker of the Year from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the 1999 Industrial Co-broker of the Year from NAIOP, and won CCIM's 2002 Real Estate Forecast competition. Most recently in November of 2004, Todd was named Vice President of METRO through an outsourcing contract with McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company.

Mr. Mason is a past president of the Exchange Club of Houston & the Stella Link Redevelopment Association (SLRA), the 2001 Chairman of the Board for the 16,000-member HAR, a past chairman of the ACRP and the Downtown Historic District, and past board member of Braes Bayou Little League, Boulevard Oaks Civic Association (BOCA) and Braeswood Place Homeowners Association. Todd is currently an active member of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR), the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), the Chairman of the Development Board of the ArchDiocese of Galveston-Houston, a member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Architectural Foundation and Manager of a West University Little League Team. Mr. Mason is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of arts in petroleum geology.
