Bob joined McDade, Smith Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company in April 2007 after returning to Houston from Gulf Coast of Alabama where he was licensed in both commercial and residential real estate sales in Baldwin county. Before earning his license, Mr. Kochman bought and sold commercial and residential properties in Texas, Alabama, and Florida as an investor. Previous to his career in real estate, Mr. Kochman was involved in several aspects for the heavy duty truck industry, culminating in his sole ownership of Houston Mack/Isuzu which under his leadership grew to be the largest singe-location Mack Truck dealership in the world.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at The Pennsylvania State University, State College, Pennsylvania. While attending classes, he was a professional photographer and Photography Editor of The Daily Collegian, a daily newspaper affiliated with the university.

Bob and his wife Jane married in 1975 and have three children; Robert Jr. who earned a B.S. and MBA from M.I.T. and is employed by Amazon.com in Seattle, and twins, Charlie and Catherine who attend Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes Academy.

Outside the office, Bob enjoys photography, golf, and is a gourmet cook. Over the years Bob has been involved in several local charities including sponsorship of the Terry Puhl Golf Tournament on behalf of Child Advocates. Bob, Jane and his children reside in Bellaire.
